Check the if - Block Scope II

#1

Hello,

I am currently following the part 5 about Block Scope.

In the little 3, the instruction is to “create an if statement that checks if the region is the ‘The Arctic’.”

So I added this:

if (region === 'The Artic') {
  }

But this doesn’t work. The error message is: “Does the if statement check if region is equal to ‘The Arctic’?

What did I do wrong? I don’t understand.

At first I added inside the if block a, “return true;” but that doesn’t change. The exercice is still wrong.

Any help please?

Your code is correct. In fact, it would work. It actually didn’t throw an error. But your client, meaning the instructions were asking of you to create an if statement that checks if the region is the 'The Arctic" not “The Artic”.
