Changing variables

#1

Create a variable on line 1 named morningAlarm and set it to '6:30AM'

var morningAlarm = '6:30AM';
when I run the program it show me that this sentence is wrong

var morningAlarm = '6:30AM';
morningAlarm = '9:00AM';
console.log('Morning alarm is set to: ', morningAlarm);

#2

What is your problem? Please, post your error message or describe the problem.

#3

it shows me that var morningAlarm ='6:30AM'; is wrong

Did you set '6:30AM' as the morningAlarm variable's value?
this is the error

#4

Your code is correct. Try to refresh page.

#5

#6

which lesson is it? .....

#7

#8

can someone please post the complete instructions.

#9

console.log('Morning alarm is set to: ' + morningAlarm);

Instead of coma you need to use +

#10

var morningAlarm = '6:30AM';
morningAlarm = '7:30AM';
console.log('Morning alarm is set to: ', morningAlarm);

It's my working code.

#11

well my problem with how I initialize the first variable

#12

I did try it it's give me the same error
yhanks for your effort

#13

well it's asks to change the value for the same variable without writing a new code

#14

Again can you please post the complete Instructions?
All parts of it

Or a screenshot

#15

#16

They want that you type that

var morningAlarm = '6:30AM';

NOTHING MORE :smiley:
And than go to part two and than three

#17

There is 3 steps you need to take a step at a time in order to complete.

If just var wont work, add console.log.

#18

I know I've done it but the error tell me that I can't set 6:30AM to var

#19

please type

var morningAlarm = '6:30AM';

and save.

And than give a new screenshot

#20

ok I get it now I've always done the 3 steps together
well thanks for everyone
sorry for bothering you
thanks again
