}img{
height:100px;
width:300px;
border:1px solid #4682b4;
a{
text-decoration:none;
color:#cc0000;
}

You have a } at the beginning of your code when it should be at the end of your img code. So:

img{
    height:100px;
    width:300px;
    border:1px solid #4682b4;
}

Well you have that, it be something else in your code causing a problem. You'll have to show the rest of it so anyone can see the difference.

}img {
height:100px;
width:300px;
border:1px solid #4682b4;
a {
text-decoration:none;
color:#cc0000;
}

Wait, why do you have all that stuff? Looking at my own, I only have the stuff for the link. Maybe that "extra" stuff is what's holding you back?

#8

your img css selector is missing its closing curly bracket (})

@eternallocket, all that code is required in the exercise

#9

It wasn't required for mine. Assuming I'm on the same lesson as you two, all I had was the css for the link; and it passed with just that. :confused:

You could remove it indeed, but you build in the previous exercises and each exercise takes the code form your last exercise (in that bit off the track), so you should be good
