Can you help me to understand the instructions for lesson 10 of 18

#1

Here is the code

$.ajax({url: 'I. AIzaSyB2sfWuybVQXFLw3x7YEq1HsIse6YR55Gw',
        type: 'GET',
        datatype: 'json',
        success (response){'https://api-to-call.com/endpoint'},
        error (jqXHR, status, errorThrown){},

});

The instruction I am having trouble with asks me to do the following:
Inside the object, add the first property ,url, with the following URL as its value:

https://api-to-call.com/endpoint

I have done that that asked for instruction and I have inserted my own API key (as you can tell) but the program is not allowing me to proceed.

Here is the link to the exercise

#2

I am stepping away for a minute but will definitely be following this topic.

#3

I was just wondering if anyone has had a chance to look at the exercise?

#4

Surely by now you are familiar with our need of a link to the exercise. How many times have we asked you that already?

#5

I have provided a link. and from the onset there was a link.

#6

D’uh! `Link to Exercise’. Need better glasses.

#7

That should be in your url property.

success (response) {
    console.log(response);
},
error(jqXHR, status, errorThrown) {
    console.log(jqXHR);
}

Also, you may wish to remove your private API key so it doesn’t end up in the search index.

#8

Are you saying remove my API key from the beginning (the one that is at the top?)

#9

Yes, that should be kept private unless it is provided in the course. If you went out and set up an account, you will want to keep your credentials to yourself for your own protection.
