9. Previous slide 2

It says "remember to fade out current slide and remove the 'active-slide' class"

var main = function() {
    $('.dropdown-toggle').click(function() {
        $('.dropdown-menu').toggle();
    });

    $('.arrow-next').click(function() {
        var currentSlide = $('.active-slide');
        var nextSlide = currentSlide.next();

        var currentDot = $('.active-dot');
        var nextDot = currentDot.next();

        if(nextSlide.length == 0) {
            nextSlide = $('.slide').first();
            nextDot = $('.dot').first();
        }

        currentSlide.fadeOut(600).removeClass('active-slide');
        nextSlide.fadeIn(600).addClass('active-slide');

        currentDot.removeClass('active-dot');
        nextDot.addClass('active-dot');

    $('.arrow-prev').click(function() {
        var currentSlide = $('active-slide');
        var prevSlide = currentSlide.prev();

        if(prevSlide.length == 0) {
            prevSlide = $('.slide').last();
        }

        currentSlide.fadeOut(600).removeClass('active-slide');
        prevSlide.fadeIn(600).addClass('active-slide');

    });
}

$(document).ready(main);

#2

This is missing on the arrow-next handler.

        currentDot.removeClass('active-dot');
        nextDot.addClass('active-dot');
    });

Hi Thank you for the response. I made the suggested correction and it is still giving me the same error

#4

var currentSlide = $('.active-slide');

#5

I have the same issue and I don't know how to solve it. I copied & pasted the solution gave from CodeCademy but that doesn't solve the issue.
