Calling a Function

Hi I’m learning how to use Python and recently learned how to call functions. It’s easy enough right now but I don’t understand why calling a function prints it?? Thanks!

Calling a function won’t normally print anything. I’d hazard a guess that you’re in a situation where you either have print functions inside your function and their execution is printing as a side effect or you’re using an interactive Python session which will print the repr() of the last expression:

yes… sorry I’m calling functions where there are print functions inside my function. Thanks for the help!!
