Buttons border color

#1

div {
height:50px;
width:120px;
background-color: #BCD2EE;
border-color:#6495ED;
border:2px;
border-style:dashed;
} it says did you remeber to change border-color to #6495ED

#3

@jibblyj, what do you mean code is fine? it is not.
there are two proper ways to define a border:

border: 4px dashed red;

and:

border-width: 4px;
border-style: dashed;
border-color: red;

you gave the border property only one value, where it expected three values, so it comes up with 2 default values, overwriting your boder-color

#4

Didn't see that, sorry!

#5

no problem, we all miss something from time to time. My comment might have come across ruder then intendant, sorry. are we good?

#6

Yeah, "we good". I didn't take it as an insult or anything negative, I actually prefer you to correct me because I learn more things from you, so thanks! :smile:

#7

thank you i couldn't figure it out.

#8

is there a good cheat sheet for syntax that would apply to this class for html 5 the way its written here?

#9

cheatsheet? not sure, codecademy has glossary for both html and css, and MDN has extensive and great documentation

#10

W3Schools is good too.

#11

if you are careful, and realize that w3schools isn't related to w3. it took really look for w3schools for example to update there php statements to prepared statements.
