Building Interactive Websites - Full-stack Exam 2: Use your console!

There’s no question here! But it seems like there are a lot of people who had the same problem that I did! It really felt like nothing that I was doing was working and I was increasingly frustrated because there is no console built into the learning environment on this one. So, I just wanted to be encouraging!

  • The exam isn’t broken, it does work!!
  • It is pretty much vital that you use your console outputs to debug! I know the course hasn’t gone over how to pull this up yet, so do this:
    1. Inspect Element - any portion
    2. Click Console from the top ribbon
    3. Filter the output - I don’t remember what the filter is in Chrome, but in Safari you filter it to just logs!

Keep trying if you got stuck on this one! It’s tough!

I highly encourage some more specific instructions or tips for this part of the exam. So many times it was so unclear. Extremely frustrating not because of the content but because of the horrible exposition
