Bug in section 12 "...and get yourself out"

#1

The correct answer should be the code below the the opacity fades to 1 when mouse enters div and fades back to 0.5 when mouse leaves the div.

$(document).ready(function() {
    $("div").mouseenter(function() {
        $("div").fadeTo("fast",1);
    });
    $("div").mouseleave(function() {
        $("div").fadeTo("fast",0.5);
    });
});

However the following code is accepted answer. This does absolutely nothing as the div is already set to 0.5 opacity.

$(document).ready(function() {
    $("div").mouseleave(function() {
        $("div").fadeTo("fast",0.5);
    });
});

Lesson 11 bug?

Maybe your future lies in the "Code Testing" branch.

It also accepted mine even though I had a missing } . I noticed it didn't work on the "preview" page when I moved forward so I corrected it, but it was letting me move forward regardless.

This module indeed does not seem to work as intended. If you input the code to achieve a 'pass' your button does nothing. Is there a way we can bug report this?

#5

Your first code was correct. You had to wait 2 seconds in the full screen view after testing manipulation with the button.

#6

This still doesn't work properly. Frustrating.
