I have included the hexcode color in my border (see the screenshot). When I select “Save & Submit Code”, I get an error message saying “Oops, try again. It looks like your border-color isn’t #0000FF”.

<do not remove the three backticks above>

To post a screen shot then hit the upload button that looks like this
And then hit from my device choose files. It looks like this:

Did you make sure that your css is linked to your html?

Yes. My css is linked to my html. Still no luck.

Can you copy and paste your html coding as well

use the key left of 1 on your keyboard
put your code in between

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
        <title>Result</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <h3>The Box Model</h3>
        <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/ae09140c.png"/>
        <p>Image courtesy of www.w3.org!</p>
    </body>
</html>

That’s quite weird. Cause there’s nothing wrong with your code. I know this is gonna suck, but try starting that exercise over.

I have reset the code using the “Reset Code” button & tried it over again. I still got the same error message. I have also done:

* {
    border: 1px dashed;
    border-color: #0000ff;
}

This still didn’t work. I got the same error message.

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
    <head>
        <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
        <title>Result</title>
    </head>
    <body>
        <h3>The Box Model</h3>
        <img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/ae09140c.png"/>
        <p>Image courtesy of www.w3.org!</p>
    </body>
</html>

* {
    border: 1px dashed #0000FF;
}

as you see my code is your code cause I copied and pasted it and it works fine.

Refresh? Maybe it might help or exiting your browser and reopening it.

That was it. I opened it in a different internet browser and it worked.

Strange. Thank you!

This is happening to me as well. I’m using FireFox but will try Chrome and see what happens.

…yup, that works. Odd.
