Boundaries and Space, Lesson 9- Display: Flex Bug?

The first instruction on the Boundaries and Space- Lesson 9: Display: Flex asks us to set the display property to flex in the .gallery class selector in main.css. I did this and I am receiving an error message saying that it is incorrect. After trying a few times, I received a message from Codeacademy asking if I want to simply have the correct code. Stumped, I accepted and Codeacademy entered the code for me in to main.css. After pressing Run to submit the code, I am still receiving the same error message, this time with the given, presumably correct, Codeacademy code. I am thus unable to proceed in the course :frowning:

Any suggestions? Anyone else having this problem?

You could try a reset of your Browser

++++ reset of session *****************
As you are manipulating with objects
under certain circumstances you can shoot your Browser in an
inconsistent state.

Therefor it is of an advantage to know that you have 2 reset facilities:

One is the use of the F5-key which does a refresh Browser

Two, select&copy your code
Then use the Reset Code button of the course-window,
then paste your code back in.

General Notes:
Always refresh the browser after making corrections:
CTRL f5 ( if on Windows or Linux)
CMD r ( if on a MAC).
CTRL 0 to reset browser zoom

I have the same problem, every time I try to set the display property to flex in the .gallery class in main.css I received the error that it is incorrect. I have tried already the reset facilities that were proposed in the reply to your question but I am still receiving the error message.

May be it is a problem with the page, hopefully we will have a solution soon!

Great page by the way!

I also stuck on this error. Anyone has the solution for this?

I was using Safari when I got the same error. I re-opened in Chrome and there was no problem.

google search and read this
