bounceName()/bounceBubbles();

#1

hi guys i just finished this course but i'm a little bit curious. why does bounceName() and bounceBubbles(); have no inputs and how did they pick var myName= "Samson" just like that. does it mean they'll pick what ever variable i've defined already? well i'll go on and stretch this thing right now. here's my code anyway.

var red = [0, 100, 63];
var orange = [40, 100, 60];
var green = [75, 100, 40];
var blue = [196, 77, 55];
var purple = [280, 50, 60];

var myName = "Samson";
var letterColors = [red, orange,green];
if (myName.length < 10){
bubbleShape = "circle";
}
else{
bubbleShape = "square";
}

drawName(myName, letterColors);
bounceBubbles();
