Bleep bleep syntax error expected "}"

syntax error: expected '}' ... I've been looking over this code for a while now and can't find out where a curly brace could go, all of the functions seem to be closed

var cashRegister = {
    lastTransactionAmount: 0
    //Dont forget to add your property
    add: function(itemCost) { +=  itemCost,
        this.lastTransactionAmount = itemCost
    scan: function(item,quantity) {
        switch (item) {
        case "eggs": this.add(0.98 * quantity); break;
        case "milk": this.add(1.23 * quantity); break;
        case "magazine": this.add(4.99 * quantity); break;
        case "chocolate": this.add(0.45 * quantity); break;
        return true;
    //Add the voidLastTransaction Method here
    voidLastTransaction: function() { -= lastTransactionAmount

//Void the last transaction and then add 3 instead
 cashRegister.scan('chocolate', 3);

//Show the total bill
console.log('Your bill is '+;

ps the comma after the voidLastTransaction method has been removed, still no luck

Hi add a , After

lastTransactionAmount: 0

The error you're currently getting is because of a missing comma after lastTransactionAmount
You will get another error after this, but I'll let you figure that one out first. If you can't find it, feel free to ask.

@nicoekkart why is a comma necessary? I'm under the impression that lastTransactionAmount is the last property of the object. willing to set that question aside for now, the error I'm getting now is ReferenceError: lastTransactionAmount is undefined. I went ahead to lesson 7 to check where I went wrong in defining it and couldn't ascertain what the difference was. without changing anything up top I decided to save and submit again and now the error message I get is "oops, try again. false" and the output is "your bill is NaN, I'm hopelessly lost at this point.
