I thought I would receive an error message because I did not include an else statement. My question is " why would this be an acceptable code for this exercise?Please and thank you in advance.

def the_flying_circus():
    if "Kevin or Jessica" == "Jessica":
        return True# Start coding here!
        # Don't forget to indent
        # the code inside this block!
    elif 3 != 40:
        return True

    print the_flying_circus()
        # Keep going here.
        # You'll want to add the else statement, too!

Codecademy looks for else in the submitted code, and there it is, in the comment …

# You'll want to add the else statement, too!

:wink:
