I’m new to all of this and just hit the Code Review: Frida Kahlo Retrospective section of the Business Intelligence Analyst course, where they ask us to seek out someone looking to have some code reviewed to get some experience doing that.
I’m 28% of the way through the course, I’m in Mountain Timezone, and I like to golf and play retro video games.
Looking forward to meeting anyone that reaches out!
Thanks for the suggestion! I may not have been clear in my post—I thought the instructions were for us to find someone else’s code to review, rather than to have my own reviewed.
There are a gazillion posts in the forums asking for code review. Dig around for some recent posts that have had no replies and knock yourself out (figuratively).
I don’t know what the instructions state. But, if you search for that project here, you’ll find a few recent posts. (I just reviewed someone’s code a couple days ago).
And, at some point you too will be asking for someone to review your project’s code.
As a BI Analyst student, giving code reviews helps improve coding skills, ensures best practices, and fosters collaboration. It’s an opportunity to learn from others, spot potential issues, and contribute to clean, efficient, and maintainable code in data-driven projects.
