I’m a new programmer and have been told C is a great language to start off with. Unfortunately this site doesn’t have any courses or resources for this language. I want to learn the fundamentals of programming, does anyone have a book or resource your recommend for this ?

This book is essentially the “bible” for the C language:
Written by the guys who wrote the language. 
While Codecademy has no courses targeting C, there is a course for C++ which is almost a super set of C. You can learn a great deal about the C language by taking the course.
