why did you post this question under community, the community lounge has the following description:

Welcome to the Codecademy community! This forum category is for general discussion unrelated to any particular course

your question is most certainly exercise related

please include: which exercise exactly you are stuck at, this can be done by mentioning exercise name or post exercise url

if you are at 5. custom print, don't use .join() yet, that is for the next exercise

Thanks !!

You didn't answer my question:

battle ship is not a exercise, its an exercise track.

which exercise of the battleship track are you at?

Hi,
I am not aware i should post my query? hence most common is COMMUNITY. So put under community?
any problem?

when opening the community lounge you get:

your question is most certainly course/exercise related, so it should be placed under the track it belongs to. I moved it there now

already covered the problem:

doing more then the exercise asks of you, you might get errors
