Authorization (How do I install gems?)

I don't understand this. I'm doing what I thought would work because it worked on rails before anyway here are the things I did.

  $ rails bundle
  command not recognized
  $ rails bundle Gemfile
  command not recognized
  $ rails bundle
  command not recognized

It's not loading the gems that Gemfile has and i questioned what i did wrong.

I believe that to install gems you run:

$ bundle install
