Hello! I am currently stuck at this exercise. When I run it I am prompted with "Oops, try again. It looks like you didn't print the less than or equal to 8 message."

I am not entirely sure what is going on because when I run the block in REPL it seems to iterate through the if statement fine. Also, my friend had the exact same block of code on his computer both running Chrome, and his works fine.

// Check if the user is ready to play!
confirm("ARE YOU READY!");
var age = prompt("What's your age?");
if (age < 13) {
    console.log("You may play but we take no responsibility");
} else {
    console.log("Play on!");
}
console.log("You are at a Justin Bieber concert, and you hear this lyric 'Lace my shoes off, start racing.'");
console.log("Suddenly, Bieber stops and says, 'Who wants to race me?'")
var userAnswer = prompt("Do you want to race Bieber on stage?");
          if ( userAnswer === "yes") {
    console.log("You and Bieber start racing. It's neck and neck! You win by a shoelace!");
     } else {
    console.log("Oh no! Bieber shakes his head and sings 'I set a pace, so I can race without pacing.'");
}
var feedback = prompt("Rate our game 1-10 please!");
if (feedback > 8) {
    console.log("Thank you! We should race at the next concert!");
} else {
    console.log("I'll keep practicing and racing.");
}

Hi,

Your code works fine, the problem probably is that you tried running code before and it stored it in the cache, so you could try refreshing the page, reset the lesson and paste in if both don't work then you will need to clear your cache on your browser :slight_smile:

What about the next level after that? Can you post that code?
