Art & code portfolio: advice needed!

I would love feedback on my personal portfolio! The code is here if anyone is curious.

To be fair, I actually started it years ago. But I could still use advice on making it look professional and pretty.

  1. Is there anything I can do to look more attractive to employers? I’m currently searching for work.
  2. Is there content you think I should add?
  3. I have a few neglected sub-sites (dogs, neurodiversity). Should I build those up, or will no one care?
  4. If you clicked on my unportfolio, what was your favorite part? Do you have ideas for making it worse, including new awful things I could code?

My hope is to have an appealing portfolio that showcases my art, creativity, and skill. Do you have advice on making this happen?

Hi Jenna,

First thanks for your precise comments on my portfolio I will definitely apply those changes.
Ok, about your project, I love the cartoonish styles throughout, just perfect, really enjoyed exploring.
Now the parts I think still need some work: I think the general design could benefit from a bit complexity. You can add more creativity, spice it up with some animation, to make the design more dynamic, I am sure you can easily find some amazing animations for scroll effects, and also hovering effect to enhance user interaction. Additionally, wider sidebar to match the page width might create more balanced look.

Thank you! Design is a skill I could stand to improve on. Animation could be fun. Thank you!
