Appending in a list while taking input from user

#1

hobbies = []

Add your code below!

for i in range(3):
j = raw_input()
hobbies.append(j)
print hobbies

Say my inputs are l , k, j.. The o/p is coming :
k
j
h
[u'k', u'j', u'h']
None
Where is this 'u' coming from??

#2

Same place as the quotes. It's a unicode string. That's how it should look.

Make sure to use the formatting tools to keep your code intact if you want others to make any sense out of it.
