Another " set your link's text-decoration to none;" problem

#1

Hi guys, I keep getting this error and don't know what I did to generate it:

Here is le stylesheet.css:

img {
display: block;
height: 100px;
width: 300px;
margin: auto;
}

p {
text-align: center;
font-family: Garamond, serif;
font-size: 18px;
}

/*Start adding your CSS below!*/
div {
height: 50px;
width: 120px;

    color: #FFEF99;
    border-color: #6495ED;
    background-color: #BCD2EE;
    border-radius: 5px;

    margin: auto;
    text-align: center;
    font-family: Verdana;
    text-decoration: none;

}

And, if it helps, here is my html:

Thanks for pointing out where the error is.

Hi,

you have put all the properties inside of your div, but that doesnt cascade down to the a tag. It should be like this

div {
    height: 50px;
    width: 120px;
    border-color: #6495ED;
    border-radius: 5px;
    background-color: #BCD2EE;
    margin: auto;
    text-align: center;
}

div a {
    text-decoration: none;
    font-family: Arial;
}

Thanks

Keith

Hi John,

looks like you have missed the closing curly bracket after the div section. It should be like this -

div{
height: 50px;
width: 120px;
border-color: #6495ed;
background_color: #bcd2ee;
border-radius: 5px;
margin: auto;
text-align: center;
}

div a{
text-decoration: none;
color: red;
font-family:impact;
}

Thanks
