Anchor error in Brown Bear segment?

#1

I'm new to this and can't quite seem to figure this out.

https://www.codecademy.com/courses/learn-html-css/lessons/common-elements/exercises/link-at-will?action=lesson_resume

Did you wrap the image element with an anchor tag?

  <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_bear" target="_blank">Learn More<img src="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/web-101/web101-image_brownbear.jpg" alt="A brown bear"/></a>

Yes, wrapping the image with an anchor tag makes the image itself a link.

I know that. They won't let me move on and kept reiterating that error message. It seems there is something wrong with my code.

And where would my mistake/s be?

Try using FireFox if you're using Chrome.

#6

Also, remove the "Learn More" from the link. The checker may be seeing that as invalid.

#7

Tried that, but it didn't work.

#8

I will try downloading the Firefox browser on my laptop, but I really wonder if everyone is using Firefox in order for Codeacademy to work.

Ah! I see where I did wrong. They had wanted me to wrap the link element to the image element below.

Thank you everyone for the suggestions!
