Am I doing it right?

#1

Help please, Am I doing it right?

https://www.codecademy.com/courses/web-beginner-en-WF0CF/0/3?curriculum_id=50579fb998b470000202dc8b

It keeps showing this message: " Oops, try again. Did you remember to add a border of color #3A5FCD around every element? "

here is my html:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
		<title>Result</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<h3>Boxes within boxes!</h3>
		<div>
			<p>Paragraph One</p>
		</div>
		<div>
			<p>Paragraph Two</p>
		</div>
		<div>
			<p>Paragraph Three</p>
		</div>
	</body>
</html>

and my css:

div {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
body {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
h3 {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
p {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
html {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
head {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }

Have a look at the example in the instructions, you're kind of missing the point

#3

Wow, I did not notice that. It worked.
here is my css

div {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
body {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
h3 {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
p {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
html {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }
head {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD;
    }

* {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD
    }

#4

Still missing the point though

If you're applying something to all elements, do you then really also need to apply that something
to each element?

#5

Oh....... Okay i'll go back

#6

/* The "*" apply's to all elements!  */
* {
    border: 1px dashed #3A5FCD /* A border of 1 pixel solid black */
    }

My css now!
