Oops, try again. Your function fails on reverse("Python!"). It returns "['!', 'n', 'o', 'h', 't', 'y', 'P']" when it should return "!nohtyP".

the only thing i cant solve is how to put them together

def reverse(text):
    n=1
    txet=[]
    while(n<=len(text)):
        txet.append(text[len(text)-n])
        n+=1
    return txet
print reverse("python")
