Algorithms Course

I plan on taking computer algorithms next semester, but I did not do too well on data structures. Will I struggle with algorithms if I don’t have a thorough grasp of data structures?

As of right now, they do in CS102 in the CS career path. And an advanced course on it is on their road map for this spring.

So, would you say that algorithms heavily rely on data structures? I’ve heard that algorithms is a math heavy course since you need to compute time complexities.

I am not sure since I have never learned either. But somebody else can probably answer that.
