Advanced Python Code Challenges: Lists Question 1

link: https://www.codecademy.com/paths/finance-python/tracks/introduction-to-python-for-finance/modules/learn-python3-lists/articles/advanced-python-code-challenges-lists

please can someone help me with question 1? I have no idea how to do it.

this is all I have got so far:

def every_three_nums(start):
  if start > 100:
    return []
  else:

How would you do it manually? Presumably you’d… count? So count. And then what?
Having a special case for start>100 seems quite redundant since you wouldn’t count past 100 anyway

If you have a problem that you can manually solve, then you already know a whole lot about what you need to do.

I still have no idea how to do it.

this is what I have learnt so far and i can’t think of a way to put it into code.
