I cannot figure ot, what the problem is with my code...
It is just loading and loading and doesn't let me move on.

Replace this line with your code.

var profile = (
  <div>
    <h1>I AM JENKINS</h1>
    <img src="images/jenkins.png"/>
    <article>
      I LIKE TO SIT
      <br JENKINS IS MY NAME />;
      THANKS A LOT
    </article>
  </div>
);

I've also tried this below but nothing happens just lading and loading endlessly

var profile = (
  <div>
    <h1>I AM JENKINS</h1>
    <img src="images/jenkins.png" />
    <article>
      I LIKE TO SIT
      <br JENKINS IS MY NAME />
      <br THANKS HA LOT />
    </article>
  </div>
);

What error are you receiving? :slight_smile:

#3

Hey, I think your error might be due to the <br> tags.
They are used for adding breaks in HTML, but no text can be defined between them.
Have you tried using <p></p> to add your text in between?

#4

When I click on the "Run", it starts loading endlessly and nothing happens.
I have also tried this code below and many others but the same thing happens, it starts loading.
var profile = (

I AM JENKINS

I LIKE TO SIT

JENKINS IS MY NAME

THANKS HA LOT

);

Sorry, it seems I couldn't paste the whole code.

#6

Hey, After your advice I tried to write the text 'JENKINS IS MY NAME' between two full b tags, but the result is the same, after clicking 'Run' neverending loading. Where exactly do you mean to use the p ?

#7

You could use the paragraph tags to put the text in, but I see it isn't needed for this exercise.
You just need to make sure you have no text in your break <br/> tags and no semi-colon after your <br/>

    <article>
         TEXT
             <br />
         TEXT
             <br />
         TEXT
   </article>

If you fix that, it should be able to render. :relaxed:

Thank you for your help. However, I still have bad news :confused:
After your first reply, I used b tags the way you advised then and now but it still does not let me move on, after clicking 'Run' it starts loading :confused:
I had removed the semi-colon earlier :slight_smile:

#9

Have you refreshed the page already and then clicked run again?
Sometimes that helps also. I had that a few times when doing the REACT course. :slight_smile:

#10

I have refreshed the page, tried Chrome, Firefoy but this is the same :confused: ...
Loading endlessly.
Thank you very much for your help :slight_smile:

#11

You're welcome, but I feel bad that it keeps loading for you.
You should have it right now so it should let you pass.
Maybe it's a bug and you could report it.

#12

I really appreciate your kindness :slight_smile: I have already reported it as a bug.
