Adding Properties

#1

I appreciate all of the help in advance...

Wondering where I'm going wrong here. I'm sure is something simple, but I just don't see it. I'm getting an "Syntax Error: missing before statement" Error Message. Here is my code.

var friends = new Object();

friends.bill = new Object();
friends.bill.firstName = "Bill";
friends.bill.lastName = "Anderson";
friends.bill.number = 1111111111;

friends.steve = new Object();
friends.steve.firstName = "Steve";
friends.steve.lastName = "Jones";
friends.steve.number = 222 222 2222;

friends.james = new Object();
friends.james.firstName = "Jim";
friends.james.lastName = "Jones";
friends.james.number = "333 333 3333;

friends.jose = new Object();
friends.jose.firstName = "Jose";
friends.jose.lastName = "Saldana";
friends.jose.number = 444 444 4444;

You can't have spaces when declaring variables.

so change this: 222 222 2222;
to this: 2222222222; or this: 222-222-2222;

With every person.

Thank you very much.

Also in "Jim" you start his number with " and don't put another one at the end to close the string.
