Adding alt to image

<img src="#" alt="https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/web-101/web101-image_brownbear.jpg"/>

Here’s my issue. Every time I add “#” alt=" after src=", the image turns into a link with no description while hovering over it. I am super new to coding so any help as to where the alt should be added would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

This image URL should be between the src quotes…

Between the alt quotes you need to type the alternative text

<img src="#https://www.google.com/search?q=puppies&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=662&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwij2_fPpPfRAhXGMSYKHZzqAEkQsAQIGA#imgrc=wdllP0ITJx_A6M:/img"/>

my code dose not work . a little hill and cloud pic just appears.

this is not a URL to an image…

Try this:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-images/CC_Symbol_Blue.png

I was wondering where to place alt=. Is it front of src=?

add after:

<img src="URL" alt="text" />
