Add a link inside the head elemnt in index.html

You have a typing mistake in the URL that you have used to link to the shift.css file.

thanks..... i am very greatful

I am having the exact same issue. However, I am unable to find my typing error.

If you would like some help with that you can always copy/paste your code in here.

<!DOCTYPE html>
    <link href="" rel="stylesheet">
    <link href="main.css" rel="stylesheet">
    <div class="nav">
      <div class="container">
          <li><a href="#">Airbnb logo</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Browse</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Sign Up</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Log In</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Help</a></li>

    <div class="jumbotron">
      <div class="container">
        <h1>Find a place to stay.</h1>
        <p>Rent from people in over 34,000 cities and 192 countries.</p>

    <div class="learn-more">
			<p>From apartments and rooms to treehouses and boats: stay in unique spaces in 192 countries.</p>
			<p><a href="#">See how to travel on Airbnb</a></p>
			<p>Renting out your unused space could pay your bills or fund your next vacation.</p>
			<p><a href="#">Learn more about hosting</a></p>
			<h3>Trust and Safety</h3>
			<p>From Verified ID to our worldwide customer support team, we've got your back.</p>
			<p><a href="#">Learn about trust at Airbnb</a></p>

I did copy/paste, but for some reason it is blank when I post it....

That is because it is HTML code and we are reading it with a web browser.

Go back, and click on the edit tool
- select all of your code
- click the </> button on the editor's toolbar

You don't need to make more posts. Go back to your original post and edit it.

  • select all of your code
  • click the </> button on the editor's toolbar

Ok, sorry. I'm new here. I edited my post.

Don''t worry about it, we were all new at one point :smile:

Here is the link that you are using to connect to the shift.css file:

If you click on it you will see that it leads you to an error.

I can see the difference between it and the one from the exercise, but maybe you want to have one more look before I give it away?

Ahh, I put codeacademy, instead of codecademy.

Dumb mistake :grin:

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!
