About the Bug Reporting category

This category is to discuss bugs and login problems.

To solve your problem quicker:

  • If you are having a problem passing an exercise, first check in the category for that exercise. If you ask your question there, you may find that the problem is with your code. There are people reading the exercise categories that will be happy to explain how to fix anything.

Once you have determined that the problem is not with your code, then check here to see if the problem has already been reported. If you do find it here, you can add your information or mark the topic as watched so that you will be notified of any activity.

If you don’t find that it has already been reported, then start a new topic and include the following:

  • your operating system
  • your web browser
  • a screenshot of your whole web page so that we can see what you are seeing
  • a link to where the problem occurs
  • a description of the problem

Bug Reports from October 2019 will have the following prepended at the start of them and will also have a tag:

[N/A] - For reports which are not a bug, or are no longer an issue
[PENDING] - A mod has taken it on and is investigating further before reporting
[REPORTED] - a member of the moderator or SU team has acknowledged the bug and reported it through the internal systems
[FIXED] - the bug has been fixed by an internal CC Team
[KNOWN] - the bug has been seen by an internal CC Team but will not be given priority to be fixed

Any suggestions or new features should be placed in #community:Feature-Course-Requests
