A question about Roadmap

I am a new member of Codecademy. I started the Front-End Engineer Career Path course. But there is one question that confuses me. At the beginning of the course, we were advised to use the road map available at Frontend Developer Roadmap: Learn to become a modern frontend developer. Among the topics on this site, https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-html is recommended to complete this course.

  • Do I need to complete the Learn HTML Course?
  • Is it better to complete the HTML course in Front-End Engineer Career Path after I finish it?

Heya and welcome to the forums!

The whole Learn HTML course is included as part of the front-end engineer career path (in modules 2-5) so there would be no need to take the course individually if you already are taking the path. Also since it’s the same content, progress will carry between the two, completing the modules in the path would count towards the course and vice-versa.
