A part of my code is not being accepted but it looks correct

#1

Help, I am on the bootstrap: neighbourhood guide final touches. It says to set the .neighborhood-guides font-size to 24px(in main.css). I have typed the code like this:
.neighbourhood-guides{
font-size: 24px;
color: #393c3d;
}
There is no hint on it.
It is refusing to accept it and says "oops, try again. set the font-size to 24px"
Can someone please tell me the correct code for this.

The exercise is expecting us to use the US spelling.

I tried that but it did not work

Hi Method,

Have you tried resetting the zoom on your browser? Have you also tried using another browser for this exercise?

Just to make sure, use .neighborhood-guides instead of .neighbourhood-guides as @albionsrefuge suggested.

I'm leaning towards you using another browser, I've had this problem personally and it was because of my zoom settings on chrome.

If you are still stuck, I'd would like to see all of your CSS code.

.nav a {
  color: #5a5a5a;
  font-size: 11px;
  font-weight: bold;
  padding: 14px 10px;
  text-transform: uppercase;
}

.nav li {
  display: inline;
}

.jumbotron {
  background-image:url('http://goo.gl/04j7Nn');
  height: 500px;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-size: cover;
}

.jumbotron .container {
  position: relative;
  top:100px;
}

.jumbotron h1 {
  color: #fff;
  font-size: 48px;
  font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
  font-weight: bold;
}

.jumbotron p {
  font-size: 20px;
  color: #fff;
}

.learn-more {
  background-color: #f7f7f7;
}

.learn-more h3 {
  font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
  font-size: 18px;
  font-weight: bold;
}

.learn-more a {
  color: #00b0ff;
}
.neighborhood-guides {
    background-color: #efefef;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #dbdbdb;
}
.neighborhood-guides {
    color: #393c3d;
    font-size: 24px;
}
.neighborhood-guides {
    font-size: 15px;
    margin-bottom: 13px;
}

This is all of my CSS code

You have three different CSS rules there that are selecting neighborhood-guides. CSS works its way from top to bottom, so the final font-size: 15px is the one that wins here.

The part of the instructions that you are missing is:

Make a second CSS rule that selects the h2 element
Make a third CSS rule that selects the p element

Add those to your selectors, just like you did for your jumbotron and learn-more rules, and you should be fine.
