$("document").ready(function() {
    $("p").html("JQuery magic in action!");

I am getting ' JQuery magic in action!'

still it's giving the following error:
It looks like your paragraph's text isn't 'jQuery magic in action!'

This is probably very minor mistake. Your string should start with "jQuery" and not "JQuery" so the first letter should be in lowercase.

@amalakhe Like @elv1nas says, JQuery should be jQuery, but also document shouldn't be in quotes, since it's a variable rather than an HTML element.

the problem for me was spaces between the method name and its brackets! sometimes their compiler is not so good. :]

Thank you all! That was very helpful from all of you. I just lowercased the 'j' and it worked. Also other feed back was good insight! Amalakhe.

$(document).ready(function() {

$('p').html("jQuery magic in action!");

DONT USE "p" use 'p'

$(document).ready(function() {

$("p").html("jQuery magic in action!");

u should write "jQuery" not "JQuery"
