9/15 Help!

#1

Below is my Code:

score = {"a": 1, "c": 3, "b": 3, "e": 1, "d": 2, "g": 2,
"f": 4, "i": 1, "h": 4, "k": 5, "j": 8, "m": 3,
"l": 1, "o": 1, "n": 1, "q": 10, "p": 3, "s": 1,
"r": 1, "u": 1, "t": 1, "w": 4, "v": 4, "y": 4,
"x": 8, "z": 10}

def scrabble_score(word):

when I Submit it says this:

Oops, try again. Did you create a function called scrabble_score? Your code threw a "global name 'scrabble_score' is not defined" error.

And the monitor says:

File "python", line 7
def scrabble_score(word):
^
IndentationError: expected an indented block

Whats wrong?

(I know the code is not finished, but I want to know why the Function is "Invalid")

#2

There is a problem, your function has to do something, we could use the pass word:

def scrabble_score(word):
    pass

This means it will just do nothing (it will pass), that should resolve your monitor error, and hopefully also your submit error, you could also just set a variable inside a function and assign it a value, of course, after that, your code will still needed to be completed
