i have tried every combo of numbers and i till cant get past Java lesson 9/12

#4

@gigapro53416, can we see your combinations?
From instruction:

The modulo operator - represented in Java by the % symbol - returns the remainder of dividing two numbers.

For example:
6 % 4 => 6 / 4 = 1, where 1 - integer result of division; remainder => 6 - 1 * 4 = 2
6 % 4 = 2

#5

Will you please stop emailing me there's no need for so many emails everyday

Well I tried all combinations 26%4, 6%4, 50%6.... nothing seems to work. It just keeps throwing the same error. Can someone please help:anguished:

try this:

public class Modulo {
	public static void main(String[] args) {

		int myRemainder = 6 % 4;
		System.out.println(myRemainder);

	}
}

or post your code and error if example doesn't work
