I am having trouble with this part of the lesson.. I have read other posts and I don't understand where I went wrong..
I get an error SyntaxError: Unexpected token }

var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
	computerChoice = "rock";
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
	computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
	computerChoice = "scissors";
} console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);
var compare = function(choice1, choice2){
    if(choice1 === choice2){
    return "The result is a tie!";
}
else if(choice1 === "rock"){
if(choice2 === "scissors"){
    return "rock wins";
}
else{
    return "paper wins";
}
}
else if(choice1 === "paper"){
    if(choice2 === "rock"){
        return "paper wins";}
}
else{
    return "scissors wins";}
}
}
else if(choice1 === "scissors"){
    if(choice2 === "rock"){
        return "rock wins";}
    }
    else{
        if(choice2 === "paper"){
            return "scissors wins;
        }
}
}

    compare(userChoice, computerChoice);

#2

you are missing a double quote here^ at the end

#3

Oh nice! I fixed that but it is still saying

SyntaxError: Unexpected token }

#4

SyntaxError: Unexpected token }

is still appearing after i fixed it. :frowning:

#5

you have an extra curly bracket here and there..

remember what the syntax should look like:

if (condition) {
  // do something
}
else if (condition) {
  if (condition) {
    // do something
  }
  else {
    // do something else
  }
}
