8.Part of the whole, please help (error= get_class_average([alice]) resulted in an error: list indices must be integers, not str)

#1

Here is my code, this is the first time I have posted anything here so if my formatting is wrong please let me know what I need to do.

students = [lloyd,alice,tyler]
def get_class_average(students):
    results = []
    for student in students:
        results.append(get_average(students))
    return results

#2

ok my formatting is wrong lol. I think I used 3 single quotes instead of 3 backticks but I am not sure. I read in FAQ to use 3 backticks at the beginning and end to format code.

#3

There is the problem... students.

results.append(get_average(student))

#4

You were using apostrophe

'

, not back tick.

`

The back-tick is usually found on the same key as the tilde

To format code samples,
