8. Neighborhood Guides: Final Touches: Instructions for #2

Set border-bottom to 1px solid #dbdbdb

I put:

.neighborhood-guides {
background-color: #efefef;
border-bottom: 1px solid #dbdbdb;

I get error message:

Oops, try again.
Set the border-bottom to '1px solid #dbdbdb'

What am I doing wrong?

You new neighborhood-guides rules looks perfect. Let's see the rest of your CSS. Look for a missing/misplaced { } or ;

.nav a {
  color: #5a5a5a;
  font-size: 11px;
  font-weight: bold;
  padding: 14px 10px;
  text-transform: uppercase;

.nav li {
  display: inline;

.jumbotron {
  height: 500px;
  background-repeat: no-repeat;
  background-size: cover;

.jumbotron .container {
  position: relative;

.jumbotron h1 {
  color: #fff;
  font-size: 48px;
  font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
  font-weight: bold;

.jumbotron p {
  font-size: 20px;
  color: #fff;
.neighborhood-guides {
    background-color: #efefef;
    border-bottom: 1px solid #dbdbdb;
.neighborhood-guides h2 {
    color: #393c3d;
    font-size: 24px;
.neighborhood-guides p {
    font-size: 15px;
    margin-bottom: 13px;

.learn-more {
  background-color: #f7f7f7;

.learn-more h3 {
  font-family: 'Shift', sans-serif;
  font-size: 18px;
  font-weight: bold;

.learn-more a {
  color: #00b0ff;

Your CSS code is perfect.

Try reloading/refreshing the browser.

If that doesn't work, try the Reset Code button and then paste you code back in.

Thank you. I will try that now.

I tried five different approaches. I refreshed my page, resetted the code, rewrote the code, moved this assignment to the bottom of the css stylesheet, added quotations...still getting the error message

Okay here is another thing to try,

I just tried that too and still the same error message.

Which operating system / browser combo are you using?

The same one I have been using for the whole lesson. I have been doing this all day. I am using Firefox on a HP laptop (Intel), Windows

You can see from the comments in that other thread that it is sometimes tricky to hit the right zoom setting in Firefox. Do you have another browser that you could try this exercise with?

I just uploaded Chrome and now it works....thank you so much for all your help!

I'm glad I could help!
