For some strange reason, my code isn't working despite the fact that the console does state that the statement is true.

The error message confuses me since there are no negative numbers at all in my numbers. If somebody could provide me with the correct code and a good explanation, I would be very grateful :wink:.

"Oops, try again. Hmm, it looks like your quarter function doesn't return -25 for -100."

function quarter(number) {

return number/3;

}

if (quarter(27) % 3 === 0 ) {
  console.log("The statement is true");
} else {
  console.log("The statement is false");
}

How familiar are you with fractions? one-half, one-third, one-quarter, one-fifth, ...

one-half     =>  1 / 2

one-third    =>  1 / 3

one-quarter  =>  1 / 4

one-fifth    =>  1 / 5

Getting the picture?
