8 functions, return, if/else

#1

can someone please tell me where I'm going wrong here?

var quarter = function(number) {
return (number / 4);
}

if (quarter() % 3 === 0 ) {
console.log("The statement is true");
} else {
console.log("The statement is false");
}
quarter(12);

I keep getting this response:
Oops, try again. Did you remember to call quarter() inside the if statement with a value that would cause it to print 'The statement is true'?

HI you should put a number inside the function quarter() inside your if statement

if (quarter() % 3 === 0 )

#3

that works. thank you.

#4

works like this for me........
var quarter = function(number) {
return (number / 4);
}

if (quarter(60) % 3 === 0 ) {
console.log("The statement is true");
} else {
console.log("The statement is false");
}
quarter(60);
