8: Font Size (What is wrong with my code?)

#1
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<title>First font size change</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<p> <p style="font-size: 10px"> Some text for you to make tiny! </p>
		<p> <p style="font-size: 20px"> Some text for you to make normal size!</p>
		<p> <p style="font-size: 40px"> Some text for you to make super big!</p>
	</body>
</html>

I don't know what is wrong with my code. The errors say that I am nesting the font size incorrectly but I don't know how! Help please!

Hi!

The problem here is that you put an extra <p> tag before each of the <p style="font....> tags, though this is not needed. Removing these should work. Good luck!

#3

You now have two <p> tags. Your line should look like this:
<p style="font-size:10px"> some text for you to make tiny! </p>

#4

The correct answer is already given, but i would like to add that style is an attribute which you can add to many opening tags of html elements. No need to create extra tags in this process.

#5

Thank you! This really helped me.

9 : Font size error

Error message Oops, try again.
It looks like your header's font-size is 32px instead of 16px.

my code:

A giant bear and a little duck were friends.

if you edit/update your question, leave a reply so i get a notification. Your code is not visible, take the following steps to make your code visible:

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

I'm glad you found your mistake and fixed the problem, but like @stetim94 said, your code was still not visible to us. So, for future reference, here is how to make code visible in posts.

I'm having a similar issue with font size. Could anyone help me figure out why I'm getting the error?

#16

Please post this question in a new topic instead of using this one, thanks.
