<In what way does your code behave incorrectly? Include ALL error messages.>

<What do you expect to happen instead?>
I enter the code exactly how I thought it would be and I was correct but it doesn’t tell you to delete the print original from the session before

```python
Replace this line with your code.
pyg = ‘ay’
original = raw_input(‘Enter a word:’)
if len(original) > 0 and original.isalpha():
word = original.lower()
first = word[0]
else:
print ‘empty’
<do not remove the three backticks above>
Can you keep going from there?
#3
Yes it lets me advance after that
That’s the main thing. Expect little bumps and flaws, warts and all sort of thing. None of it is intentional, but perhaps unavoidable or unforeseen–humans being who they are. Key to our experience here is that we pick up a few things that pique our interest and we are able to move on, setting our own target. Then the random foibles of the learning platform become secondary, at best.
