I don't have any of this in my number seven but after the return "The result is a tie!" you need to add a semicolon after it and another closing bracket with a semicolon with it.

Although this fixed the problem, it doesn't really solve or answer the lesson.The lesson is asking you to add an else if statement for choice 1 === paper. I'm not quite sure why it accepts the answer with this change, but I suggest trying to fully understand and complete the lesson instead of finding loop holes. Just a suggestion.
