7. Pretty sure Code works

#1

$(document).ready(function() {
$('button').click(function() {
$('#blue').fadeOut('slow');
});
});

#2

Looks exactly the same as mine, and mine worked. If it won't let you past, try another browser. Such has worked for me before when my code was correct but it wouldn't let me through.
:smile:

#3

when clicking submit and it takes you to the preview page, it won't give you a success if you don't click the "click me" button and actually see the blue box fade away.

If you preview before clicking submit, it wont work.

#4

And it is nice to know

++++ reset of session *****************
under certain circumstances you can shoot your Browser in an
inconsistent state.

Therefor it is of an advantage to know that you have 2 reset facilities:

One is the use of the F5-key which does a refresh Browser

and

Two, select&copy your code
Then use the Reset Code button of the course-window,
then paste your code back in.

Addendum
General Notes:
Always refresh the browser after making corrections:
CTRL f5 ( if on Windows or Linux)
CMD r ( if on a MAC).

#5

You need to delete 'slow' from .fadeOut()

#6

i did $('div#blue') and it post's as good
