5., 6. & 7. Some best practices to avoid errors
#2

The first thing to do would be to remove all the row and columns divs that you added to your nav.

The nav on this web page should just be a band across the top with your two lists in it.

so this is what I have so far

#5

That is getting better! You have a /div right after you begin your container div. That /div is closing the container right there. The container should be closed after the second ul element.

ok so I fixed that but for some reason I can't get all the thumbnails in a row

#7

See there, the first /div ends the thumbnail and the second /div ends the column -- the problem is that you should have two thumbnails in there before you end the column.

How does this look?

#9

The next thing is that you seem to have lost your div that has the class name of row. You should look back at exercise 5 where you first created it, then come forward again and try to figure out where you lost it.

#10

When I try to add the div class row the trust and safety portion of the third section goes under the other parts of the section

#11

Please post all of your code from exercise 5 -- that's the one where you first created your neighborhood-guides div. You need to make sure that everything is in the right place at that point.

:green_heart: How to post code in this forum.

#12

From what I see you are missing one closing </div> in <div class="nav">
It should be just under second </ul>.
That should fix some problems.

In Neighborhood Guides, <div class="col-md-4">
You are missing <div class="row"> just before first <div class="col-md-4">
Your first thumbnail is not closed.
Your code:
<div class="col-md-4">
<div class="thumbnail">
<img src="http://goo.gl/0sX3jq">
<div class="thumbnail">
<img src="http://goo.gl/an2HXY">
</div>
</div>
</div>
It should look like this:
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-4">
<div class="thumbnail">
<img src="http://goo.gl/0sX3jq">
</div>
<div class="thumbnail">
<img src="http://goo.gl/an2HXY">
</div>
</div>

Same problem in next column, missing closing </div> after first thumbnail.
At the end of <div class="neighborhood-guides"> you should have 5 closing </div>
One for last <div class="thumbnail">
one for last <div class="col-md-4">
one for <div class="row">
one for <div class="container">
and one for <div class="neighborhood-guides">
In Learn-More you closed your div before putting any content inside.
You have too many mistakes it's surprising you managed to get that far.
Pay attention to hints.
