7. Next Dot 1 Helping Others

#1

This is only for people I know who been struggling on this!

var main = function() {
$('.dropdown-toggle').click(function() {
$('.dropdown-menu').toggle();
});
}
$('.arrow-next').click(function() {
var currentSlide = $('.active-slide');
var nextSlide = currentSlide.next();

var currentDot = $('.active-dot');
var nextDot = currentDot.next();

if(nextSlide.length == 0) {
nextSlide = $('.slide').first();
}
currentSlide.fadeOut(600).removeClass('active-slide');
nextSlide.fadeIn(600).addClass('active-slide');

currentDot.removeClass('active-dot');
nextDot.addClass('active-dot');
});
$(document).ready(main);

@djordan2000, Thank you for trying to be supportive to members on the forums, however I believe it's best to not just post answers on the forums. That doesn't really help as the users won't know where to go with this information, and it won't help them understand what's going on in the future.

If someone has a specific problem on a lesson then you can help them with that, but just allowing code to be copy-pasted is more hurtful than helpful. I'm not going to take this down, I'm just letting you know for the future.

Have a good day and happy holidays!
