Inside the second

..
column, add two thumbnails. Use "http://goo.gl/Av1pac" for the first image and "http://goo.gl/vw43v1" for the second image.
Inside the third column, add just one thumbnail. Use "http://goo.gl/0Kd7UO" for the image.
In the preview window, click the "Full Screen" button to see the results.
  <div class="col-md-4"></div>

  <img src="http://goo.gl/vw43v1">

  <img src="http://goo.gl/0Kd7UO">
  </div>
  </div>

That is an empty column div. There we can see the opening tag and the closing tag and we can see that there is nothing else inside of it. It should contain two thumbnail divs and their images.

#3

actually did that as an attemp to see if the error message would stop popping the original code was

  <div class="col-md-4">
  <div class="thumbnail">
  <img src="http://goo.gl/Av1pac">
  </div>
  <div class="thumbnail">
  <img src="http://goo.gl/vw43v1">
  </div>
  <div class="col-md-4">
  <div class="thumbnail">
  <img src="http://goo.gl/0Kd7UO">
  </div>

same error message

#5

Neither of your col-md-4 divs have closing tags.

#6

should i just write twice or where should i add that closing tag? thought the closing tag was the after the image source

#7
  <div class="col-md-4">
  <div class="thumbnail">
  <img src="http://goo.gl/Av1pac">
  </div>
  <div class="thumbnail">
  <img src="http://goo.gl/vw43v1">
  </div>
  </div>
  <div class="col-md-4">
  <div class="thumbnail">
  <img src="http://goo.gl/0Kd7UO">
  </div>
  </div>

#8

There is a closing tag there but that belongs to the thumbnail div. Every </div> closes the previous <div> that is closest.

#9

now i get another error message

#10

The first col-md-4 div in that question still does not have a closing tag.

After the second column you have three /div tags now. One closes the thurmbnail - that's good, one closes the column - also good, and one closes the row -- not good!
