    else:

    return hotel_cost(days) + plane_ride_cost(city) + rental_car_cost(days) + spending_money
print trip_cost("Los Angeles",5,600)

Could be the order try writing your return in this order,

return plane_ride_cost(city) + hotel_cost(days) + rental_car_cost(days) + spending_money

print trip_cost("Los Angeles", 5, 600

And your print statement a line between the return,
